2026: Annual General Meeting & Conference – Paris, France
L’Unité Pour l’Ostéopathie (UPO) will jointly host the 2026 OIA AGM & Conference on November 5-7, 2026 at the Maison de la Chimie (28 Rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris, France). The agenda is in progress and will be published here soon. Concurrent sessions will provide options for registrants to attend sessions in either English or French; however, due to the cost, simultaneous translation will not be available.
Registration: conference registration is now available here. To participate in the OIA Annual General Meeting from 2-5 PM on Thursday, November 5th, please register for the conference and select the free “OIA General Assembly” add-on on the second page.* Conference attendees are also eligible to attend the free wine and cheese tasting following the AGM on Thursday, by selecting that ticket option on the second page.
Gala Dinner Cruise: join us for a magical gala evening aboard a private boat on the river Seine for an evening of dining, music, sightseeing and camaraderie on Friday, November 6th from approx. 7-10 PM. Open to speakers, conference attendees, and guests alike, this highlight of the event will give everyone the chance to come together for a festive evening in a unique setting, cruising along the river with a view of Paris’s most beautiful landmarks. The cost is 170 €/person and tickets may be purchased on the registration site.
Cancellations/Refunds: tickets are eligible for cancellation/refund minus a processing fee until October 7th, by contacting [email protected]. After October 7th, no refunds will be given; however, tickets may be transferred to another individual free of charge.
Lodging: a group block rate has been negotiated at the Hôtel Mercure (20 rue Jean Rey), a 15 minute metro ride from the conference venue. Rooms start at 228.45 €/night for a single room with breakfast, for 1-3 nights between November 5th and November 7th, inclusive. Group block rooms are non-refundable, and will be available at the group rate until either July 5th or until the block sells out, whichever occurs first. OIA-AOF International Volunteer of the Year Award: the OIA and the American Osteopathic Foundation have launched our first annual International Volunteer of the Year award. The award recognizes an osteopath or osteopathic physician who has made significant contributions in certain areas, and the awardee will receive funding to offset the cost of attendance at our AGM & Conference, where the award will be presented. The 2026 nomination period closed on April 30th, and the awardee will be notified by July 1st. For more information, please click here.
Call-for-Poster Presentations: the OIA is seeking poster presentations from 2025 students of osteopathy or osteopathic medicine, for our conference on November 6-7, 2026 in Paris. Please see the instructions and requirements here, and submit your poster by June 30, 2026.
