L’Unité Pour l’Ostéopathie (UPO) will jointly host the 2026 OIA AGM & Conference on November 5-7, 2026 at the Maison de la Chimie (28 Rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris, France). The Conference will also feature a student poster competition in the Grand Gallery on the ground floor on Friday, Nov. 6.
– Translation Service: Concurrent sessions will provide options for registrants to attend sessions in either English or French, and participants will be able to use the Nubart translation service free of charge to listen to any session in their desired language in real time, and view a written translation. PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN HEADPHONES/EARBUDS, and you may wish to bring a phone charger, adaptor and/or powerbank as frequent use of Nubart may drain a phone’s battery faster than usual. A Nubart demo will be conducted during the opening remarks on Friday at 8:30 AM to ensure that all attendees know how to use it before the sessions start.
– Note for French Osteopaths in Private Practice: Conference workshops may be eligible for funding by the FIFPL, subject to the conditions applicable at the time of the request. Contact UPO for more details ([email protected]).
– Note Regarding Recent Protests in France: this message was sent to all conference registrants regarding the protests on October 20th. A nationwide train and metro strike is planned for Thursday, November 5th, and we will share an update regarding the strike with all attendees by email on Wednesday, November 4th.

OIA AGM badge pick-up will occur outside of Room 233 from 1-1:30 PM on Thursday, Nov. 5. OIA Full [voting] Member organizations will also receive their ballots at badge pick-up, for use during the OIA Board election during the AGM around 4 PM. Conference attendees who selected the free wine and cheese tasting during registration will receive a wristband at badge pick-up. The wine tasting will start at 5 PM immediately following the AGM. NOTE: the AGM and wine tasting are both sold-out and we regret that we will be unable to accommodate guests who did not pre-register.
Gala Dinner Cruise: join us for a magical gala evening aboard a private boat on the river Seine for an evening of dining, music, sightseeing and camaraderie on Friday, November 6th from approx. 7-10 PM (Boarding Starts: 7 PM; Boat Leaves: 8 PM). Open to speakers, conference attendees, and guests alike, this highlight of the event will give everyone the chance to come together for a festive evening in a unique setting, cruising along the river with a view of Paris’s most beautiful landmarks. The cost is 170 €/person and tickets may be purchased on the registration site. Limited tickets may be available for purchase during the conference on Friday.
– Gala Attire: the dress code is smart/formal: a suit, evening dress or equivalent formal attire. The dining room is enclosed; however, guests will have the option to go outside so layers are advisable. Evening weather averages around 45°F (7°C) to 57°F (14°C) in early November and rain is possible.
Cancellations/Refunds: After October 7th, no refunds will be given; however, tickets may be transferred to another individual free of charge.
